Alex and his team painted my hallway, landing and stairs. Alex filled in all holes and gaps. I have a flat in a converted Victorian house with high walls and ceiling. I wanted victorian green and black banisters and trims as it’s dark in my hallway and these colours work well in a dark space. It looks amazing. His wife Patricia came to video and access work to be done and promptly sent a quote and a full list of materials I needed to buy. Alex and his apprentice cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day. They were very tidy and respectful. Patricia handled all communication and questions in a very helpful way. I’m very pleased with their work and I will be booking them in the spring/summer to do my kitchen. Thank you Alex Painter.

I contacted Alex after seeing his work on Instagram and knowing he was local. His wife promptly visited to assess the job and prepared our quote very quickly. We agreed a date & were sent a concise list of materials to buy. Alex arrived promptly on day 1, and every other day. He, his apprentice and his wife were all very considerate of our home. Every evening before leaving they would tidy & hoover, which I did say wasn’t necessary but they insisted. The job was completed slightly ahead of time, despite Alex having to do extra work to fill some patches on the ceiling. We are extremely happy with the results, our living room looks amazing and would not hesitate in employing them again or recommending.

I highly recommend Alex, he did a fantastic job painting our bathroom, kitchen and bedroom. We have an old house which is full of issues and surprises, but he never failed to make everything look great. He was able to patch some peeling wallpaper in our bathroom so it’s completely invisible, and he made our bumpy and cracked kitchen walls look perfect. We wanted to use specialist paint in our bedroom and he was very open to using it and following the detailed instructions. He is very tidy and a total perfectionist - great qualities in a painter! All in all, we couldn’t be happier.
